In all bookings, the person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these terms on behalf of the guest(s) named in the booking. No amendment to these Terms and Conditions shall take effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of the company.
Bookings and Payments:
Tour Reservations: All reservations are subject to availability. To make a reservation, you must give correct and complete information about yourself and any other people involved in the booking.
Payment for tours and vacation packages must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise noted. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified on our website.
Pricing: All prices displayed on our website are given in the currency specified and are subject to change without notice. Prices may vary depending on tour duration, inclusions, and seasonal demand. Any additional fees or taxes will be clearly stated during the booking process.
General circumstances.
We may provide optional excursions and services for an extra fee.
Visits to wildlife parks are at the client’s own risk.
Jeeps used for safaris are relatively basic with basic insurance coverage (not comprehensive as in the case of vehicles used for tours).
Travel documents and insurance:
Travel Documents: You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents for your journey to Sri Lanka. Golanka shall not be held liable for any complications caused by incomplete or invalid travel papers.
Travel Insurance: We strongly advise you to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected occurrences, such as trip cancellations, medical crises, and loss of personal possessions. Golanka will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during your vacation. The golankatrip.com website’s content, including text, photos, logos, and graphics, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are not permitted to reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without our prior written approval.
Disputes
This terms and conditions agreement is regulated by Sri Lankan law, and the Sri Lankan court has exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably. Guests agree that any dispute between the parties to this agreement involving the construction or application of any of its terms, provisions, or conditions shall, upon written request of either party served on the other, be submitted first to mediation and then, if unresolved, to binding arbitration. Guests agree that the company will choose the venue and jurisdiction of any lawsuit resulting from a dispute.
